Have you ever thought about how much of who we are is reflected in our faces? I have! I am fascinated by faces and how teensy-tiny differences can alter our perception of a face and the personality that goes with it.

 

I grew up in a very creative family, surrounded by music and art. I remember attending a work day with my dad, and saw how keylining, photography, and illustration worked together to create advertisements. I knew then I would someday become an illustrator. I discovered a skill for caricatures and comics in my adolescence, and I’m inspired each day by other cartoonists. Meeting and drawing different people gives me a rush like nothing else!
